"Firstly, I own quite a bit of sumo strength equipment including the panther cell obviously. Everything I have purchased has been commercial grade quality and I can't recommend sumo more highly. The equipment aesthetic is also from my perspective a class above the rest. I havent really seen anything in the market that attempts what this leg combo rack attachment is trying to achieve so I applaud sumo for investing in this attachment. For most serious lifters, leg curls and extensions are generally something you need to give up on when leaving a gym for a home set up, without the purchase of one or sometimes two additional machines that most just don't have the space or money for. I was comparing this attachment against other standalone sit down ham curl/leg combos like I assume others are given my gym space was limited. I hope my feedback isnt seen as a knock but as input into making this product better as there is a lot to like about it. The positives. . . . The ability to attach the moving arm to the cable cell weight stack is maybe the most clever thing about this attachment. The result is a smooth resistance profile from the start of the movement. Many standalone machines rely on weight plates which means resistance only builds at you begin the "up" part of the rep mid way through the range but this attachment solves that problem. The adjustability of the attachment exceeds most standalone combo machines in the same price range. While the seating pad can adjust, it is the ability to rotate the leg pad as well as adjust its height that gives you a lot of flexibility to accommodate different body sizes. I was dubious it would feel strong when sitting on it given it is suspended on the rack but it definitely feels locked in and able to support a lot of weight. As a leg extension, this works great and I feel I get a good workout using it, especially doing single leg. The negatives . . . This will not replace a lying leg curl machine. To be honest, as much as I try, I can not do a lying leg curl using this no matter what I adjust and I am a standard male height. There just isnt enough seating pad to lie on and be stable. The leg arm angle just doesn't work with lying in any position. A standing leg curl or even a glue kick back is ok. There is enough adjustment to make that work but supporting your body while you do them is a bit clunky. If you move the seating pad vertical to push your torso against then you feel to far away from the leg pad. If you lie the seat pad flat then it's hard to support yourself though your curling leg feels better. The attachment is solid but the rotating arm allows for a little sideways rotation during the rep. The result on a leg extension is one foot is slightly in front of the other and a little rotation at the hips. You can get around any inbalance my doing single legs but it would be ideal if no rotation occured Lastly getting it on and off. I understand there has to be a trade off here. The more sturdy the more weight required and more difficult to handle. It isnt the easiest thing to get on and off, however the upside is that you don't need room for a standalone machine. After taking it on and off many many times, you do find a method for making it easier but honestly, my wife just thinks it's to hard basket and I suspect most women who are not crazy about doing leg extensions will just think the same. Maybe a way to lock the leg arm in place might help as it can swing widely when rotating the body to remove from the rack. I would love to see some type of wall mount to store it. Not sure what it would look like though. Hope this review helps develop the product further. It really is a clever attachment and you can get a lot out of it with a bit of trial and error for your body type but if your main goal with purchasing this is to replace a lying leg curl like gym exercise then I don't think the product will meet your expectations at the moment."

"I was told it works with plates only, but it really doesn’t engage your muscles until halfway through the rep. Even worse is the ability to do standing hamstring curls. The seat doesn’t come out far enough so when you attempt to do it, you end up fighting against the mechanics of moving arm. I have to put a 10cm block in between my leg and the seat to be able to hinge smoothly. It’s a very expensive attachment so extra disappointing. It probably works much better with a pulley system, but you will have the same issues with the standing hamstring curls."
